Great Mother Portal

48 x 48 — Mixed media with pressed flowers, feathers, bone, and the essence of Isis on panel
Great Mother Portal channels the frequency of Isis, mother of all things, keeper of magic, mystery, and rebirth. Built at a scale meant to be stood in front of and truly felt, the piece holds pressed flowers, feathers, and bone directly within it, elements pulled from the earth itself, grounding the divine feminine into something you can see and touch.
This Portal moved beyond canvas into embodiment. Alongside Megan Incorvia, the piece became the foundation for a full body-paint embodiment experience, translating the frequency of Isis from the wall onto skin, a living extension of the same energy the painting was built to hold. I also created a smaller 20” x 20” Portal based on the same energy.
