A custom piece, made for your intention and your space.
In-person commissions for homes and wellness spaces across Southern California. I visit, paint, and install.
You've invested in your business, your body, and your growth.
You have a beautiful home with a wall or a room that still feels unfinished.
You don't want more decor.
You want something made for the life you're building, that you'll use EVERY day!
WHY A PORTAL
More Than Art on a Wall
Most art is chosen to match a room. A Portal is made to support what you're building.
Made for One Intention
Before I paint, we get clear on what you want to create. The whole piece is designed around it.
Made for Your Space
Scale, color, and placement are chosen for your space, and how you move through it.
Always Working
A portal works in your space all day, every day. The more you focus on it and work with it, the stronger its effect becomes.
It's like having a personal trainer instead of working out alone: an asset built for your life, your goals, and your space.
THE PROCESS
How it Works
1. Consultation call. A free 30-minute call about your goals, your space, timeline, and budget.
2. Home visit. I see the room, take measurements, and we go deeper on the intention. The visit fee is credited toward your commission.
3. Design and proposal. You get a concept sketch, size, palette, timeline, and price. A deposit secures your spot.
4. Painting. I paint your piece by hand and send progress photos along the way.
5. Installation. I install your piece in person. We finish with an anchoring session and a daily practice, so the piece keeps working long after it's hung.

LARGER SPACES
Rooms, Retreats, and Wellness Spaces
I also design art for full rooms and spaces: meditation rooms, studios, spas, and retreat centers. Placement is guided by Vastu, the traditional Indian science of how a space is laid out. On larger projects, I work alongside architects, designers, and builders.
Designers: trade inquiries welcome.

"There's a level of care and intention in how Shekinah works that you feel immediately.
Every step of the process felt considered, and the piece itself is something that continues to amaze me.
I've worked with a lot of creatives, and working with Shekinah is one of a kind experience.
It was so much more for me than just a commission.”

QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked
How long does a commission take?
This completely depends on scale. Usually 6 to 10 weeks from consultation to completion, depending on size. You'll get progress photos along the way.
Do you offer smaller pieces?
Yes. Custom portals start at $3,000, original paintings and prints are also available!
Do I need to know my intention already?
No, you do not! Getting clear on your intention it is part of the magic that happens in our consultation.
Can you work outside Southern California?
Yes. Smaller pieces ship anywhere, and I travel for larger projects. Shipping is handled by professional fine-art handlers and quoted in your proposal.
Do you work with businesses and designers?
Yes: offices, studios, spas, retreat spaces, and interior and wellness designers. Trade inquiries are welcome.
What happens after the painting is installed?
I walk you through an anchoring session and a simple daily practice, so you can keep working with the piece long after it's hung.
Your space is ready for something made for you.
